You had a "hard break?" What did you break? Or was a lunch break?

Gulf Relay installed cameras staring directly into the face of the driver. After it #####ed about everything I did, I flipped it off. The screen said "indecent gesture". I had a good laugh.

So you got wrote up for giving a bird to the camera while driving? That is funny, perhaps ill-advised. Lol.

I hate to be a hardass but "slander" is when someone speaks wrongly about you. "Libel" is when it's written. So it would be DAC libel, not DAC slander. Since DAC doesn't speak verbally, it can't be guilty of slander.

By all means send a rebuttal to DAC as mentioned above follow their format/rules.

As a word to anyone dealing with HireRite/DAC you have rights but have to be factual and concise.

    ALSO,

Don't be the guy who refutes every little thing; first place I worked using DAC [years ago] our very first applicant had worked at 22 places in 24 months and had a rebuttal for every one. Now his app already stood out due to the attached sheet of former employers to supplement the space on our application form.

I still wonder if that guy ever got the 25th job...

I get a few like that, one of them provided his report to me with both rebuttals and handwritten notes on 30-plus events. I tossed it right into the can.

wis bang and tscottme Thank this.

We just can't tell them we trashed it...them feely good laws say we need to accept all applications and just not act on those 'unacceptable' for the job position. Anyone taking such sever measures to make things everyone else's fault would find some petty to file suit which costs time and money and we don't usually have much extra.

End of the year when I would purge files to match the FMCSA requirements I would separate the batch with red ink from the rest of the un-accepted files.
