    Don't worry,you're not having a stroke. You're having a heart attack.

If I didn't drive I would end up having to get a real job. Now that would depress me.

Do something that sucks more than what you're doing now, then come back to what you're doing now.

Part of problem may be uncertainty and not being in control as a trainee realizing you can only do your best and honestly assessing whether your responsible for a bad situation or just affected in an unfair way it’s not easy since being depressed has a way of making you feel like the whole worlds against you I’ve been dealing with this crap for years had a real bad episode in my early 20s tomorrow I’ll be 54 and doing ok depression is a tricky thing that everyone has to deal with at some time or another if suicide enters your mind it’s time to get good help maybe antidepressants for a short time the longer you wait if it gets worse and it can get really bad like never imagined it takes longer to recover as thinking patterns are hard to change but that’s what needs to happen what I’ve learned to do a long time ago is try to figure out what started the thought process often it will be some bad memory that crossed my mind and quickly left but set in motion more negative thoughts when I realize what wound me up in the first place I can put things in perspective and remember to be your own best advocate chances are your doing a great job despite a few stumbling blocks not the other way around it’s not easy since depression affects your ability to see things clearly but that didn’t mean you can’t train your mind to ignore negative thoughts because they will snowball and consume you if allowed It’s hard to control what negative thoughts enter your mind but it’s very possible to ignore or switch those thoughts it’s not a sign of weakness at all its more a sign of courage don’t let crap scare you it’s not real just a bunch of anxiety bs

What depresses me, is reading one long post, that is one long sentence... one long... I mean one long. Did I say, one long?
