Well in my four wheeler today I was coming to on a on-ramp for a express /w a 45MPH speed limit there was two lanes for two diffrent on-ramps I was in the left.

Now you couldn't see the on-ramps since they were hidden around a blind bend and next thing you know the right lane has about 40 feet left and has a 180% turn only safe for 15MPH with 0 warnings till after the blind bend.

What the hell would I do if I was driving a truck?I would just slam those brakes and #### my pants and go straight ,problem is its a giant ditch there!

Be. Aware. Of. Your. Surroundings. And slow down. It's not a race. There's no such thing as "sudden dead man's curves".

Was this on ramp truck friendly? 2 different ramps may be because the one you were on was no trucks allowed

Keep going straight ,you'll notice the only warning for your on-ramp to 81 is posted on the bridge and then you have 50 feet to get down to safe speeds for that curve

Actually now that I look at it ,seems like more than enough room to slow down to a safe speed. I only noticed the turn when I was passing by it

There could be an accident just around the corner or a senile old man stoped right in the road to take a leak,(I'm serious). Chances are you won't find anything waiting around the corner but when there is you will be glad you were going slow enough to stop in time. Try not to drive faster than you can stop within what you can see.

Safe driving techniques and methods all say the same thing about this: if you're following safe driving methods, there are no sudden dead man's curves. Above drivers are right on. In that situation, in a big rig, you'd be going slow and looking for your correct lane, observing other drivers, conditions, being prepared for any evasive action, in other words, driving the truck.

So you were born gear shift in hand? It's a legit question from somebody who doesn't have experience. Rather him ask now then before it's too late
