It’s amazing how far away from trucks cars get when a tire blows.
I’ve seen them become a spec in my mirror after a tire failure.
But then it’s tailgating traffic all around again not long after.
How to drive around trucks 101. What would you teach?

Use your turn signal when you change lanes, it's really ok. You'll be like a unicorn come to life. A rare, and magical thing.
Sirscrapntruckalot - You would think turn signals were like cursive handwriting, with the way nobody uses them.

Trucks - 80,000lbs.
Your car - 5,000lbs.
Think about it.The_vett and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
You have a mischievous streak.
Good for you.The_vett Thanks this. -
When my turn signal comes on ... that's not a suggestion. I'm coming over it does not mean it's time for you to stomp the gas and try to cut me off.
Another Canadian driver, The_vett, Sirscrapntruckalot and 4 others Thank this. -
I am amazed that no one brought this one up.
Absolutely hands down the most effective teaching system to make people aware of their surroundings while driving
The Smith System
Smith System Driver Improvement Institute, Inc.
Developed in 1956, and is as relevant, if not more so, now.
As a former Smith System instructor while with Penske I can testify to that fact.

So true. I'm not asking permission...I'm warning you that I'm coming over. The rest is up to you!Another Canadian driver, The_vett, Trucker Paul and 1 other person Thank this.

Wake up a little earlier on the entrance ramp. You trying to drive into the side of my truck and then jerking the wheel and flashing your brights at me probably could have been avoided by you deciding (decisively) whether you were going to merge in front or behind me.
This means you, Michigan. Worst mergers in the lower 48.Another Canadian driver, The_vett, Trucker Paul and 2 others Thank this. -
I don't know... the saving-the-planet-in-a-prius types in Minneapolis and the California imports infesting Colorado are doing their best to show they deserve that title!Another Canadian driver, The_vett and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

I totally agree about turn signal usage. I've been driving since'94. Turn signal usage has gotten way more uncommon these days. Is it really hard for these 4 wheelers to use a turn signal?Another Canadian driver, The_vett and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this.
