How to enter trucking????

You can make about $65K as a new driver with Superior-Carriers. Contact this company and ask which school they recommend. They hire only from certain schools.
If you don't want tankers then find the cheapest 160 hr. school then apply with Abilene Motor Express.
Here's some more good companies that hire from most 160 hr. schools:
CTL Transportation
McKenzie Tank Lines
SVTN
Tidewater Transit
Magnum Ltd.
Freymiller
Tyson Foods

Apply during the first week of cdl school and submit as many applications as you want; the more the better.

 

We planned out school based on who would hire us from there.

We both have our CDL so we didn't have to worry about a rider policy but there are some great companies that do not allow riders.

Im also looking to get into trucking after 33 years in corporate job. My son will be driving. Hr wrks for city now has ran long haul for swift in the past has diesel mc licence . Our goal is to do container then ease into putting a couple of on the road. We're looking at pfs transportation memphis. .any thoughts
