A good truck stop is one where you are not waking every two hours to knocks on your door. One where there is lots of parking.
If you want to make money driving you will find that buying each meal is thousands of dollars per year. You will be saving much money buying food and stocking a fridge. Treat yourself to a restaurant meal every once in a while. Truck stop food is not a treat.

But then I'm an old hermit, -
If you simply untether yourself from HAVING to eat at a restaurant or truck stop, it opens up a HUGE variety of places you can park that will give you much better sleep. When OTR I used my 30 minute break to shower at a truck stop or shop at Walmart. That way I had a lot of options at the end of the day.
In my book the best nights are waaayyy off the beaten path, real quiet, and nobody there to hassle you or run a squeeling reefer next to you.
