Maybe Im naive, but why do all hotshoters need 40ft trailers ?

There plenty of loads and cargo that a 28 or 30ft trailer can handle !!

If everybody had same buisness plan and everybody had same set up 40ft trailers. We all would be chasing same frieght !!

I think its good to think outside box and go for diff loads..

I think 30ft trailer that can carry 10-12k. Just as good as the 40ft trailer that can carry 15k .. Yes u might not get every load . but theres still plenty of loads between 1000-10k ..

    Thoughts n opnions are welcomed

Once He starts running with a 26 ft trailer. If He misses out on Loads and whether a longer Trailer is needed or worth it.

I agree . but i also think his never gonna get every load.. I know people who carve out great living with smaller trailers..

Half the time i see 40ft trailers on road.. 30% of the trailer is empty..

Only place i feel its absoulty neccasery and a must for 40ft trailer.. Is hotshotting in the oil field. With all tools and pipes etc..

He says he’s got a 26 ft already. Lot of comments telling him to go bigger. I said I don’t know. But He will know for sure once He’s running. His questions where to find loads? My answer Load boards.
