I would suggest getting an agent or 2 to hit the phones with you.

I would love to find a broker that would use me all the time... That is the problem for us drivers,,,Brokers are like us and trying to get as much money as they can but, it causes a riff between us. In my opinion, it would be great if a driver and a broker could strike up a good relationship,,,wouldn't it be nice to just call a couple drivers, pay them descent and have your freight moves?? Would be so much better for both parties I think...

I would like that too. What lanes do you like to run? Most of the freight I have now is Oregon and Washington out. I just covered a Bend, or to Garrison, NY (2800mi) it only paid $3k to the driver, but it was only 20 feet and 5000lbs, so I helped them find another partial to go with it.

My problem is finding back hauls to get the same drivers running.

What? You think a Load Board is more profitable than a direct customer? Direct Freight is the way to go, but it takes time to find... I use ITS and the freight on there is getting lower, and lower and lower and lower....ect.
