LOL, It has been a while, so it may have changed hands, but my experience and yours was totally different, he sure didn't mind taking the money I threw at him, and keeping it either.

I see that LKQ Heavy duty was mentioned. They have a yard in Tampa, Florida. 2 private owned salvage yards that I do business with are Adelman's in Canton, Ohio and they also have a yard in Chicago, Il. Karl Adelman is a stand up guy, I have never had a problem with anything I have purchased from them in the 10+ years of doing business with them. Also Frontier Used Truck Parts in Wyoming, Michigan, that is owned by the Weller family. They are also stand up people who offer good parts at fair prices.

Can try them.. LKQ - LKQ Heavy Truck

Usually their automotive yards are you pull it style and have decent prices. I just found out recently they also have Heavy Truck yards but no idea how the prices are.

They have a Truck yard just south of Jackson Ms. on I- 55. Also a big warehouse in Romulus Mi. They bought out Radiator works in Wandotte Mi. In house sales at Romulus Warehouse for Radiators, condensers. They told Me, they’re getting more into New Heavy Duty aftermarket parts.

The best junk yard is the Frontier Truck Parts from MI. Purchased many parts there . Ordered online and over the phone. Never sent me wrong on, never overcharged for shipping. Second place is the Van Der Haags from Omaha area. The worst ones are located near Phoenix area.

Frontier did me right, last time bought a re- man fan clutch, $175.00. It had been on the shelf for a while, had to put a mini seal kit in 6 mos later. Kind of expected that,5 yrs later still doing a good job.

Today, went to All Truck Baton Rouge. 15959 Florida Blvd, ( Hwy90). What a great place. Everyone was very helpful. They removed an entire cab, to get Me a y pipe. $125. Almost new. New ones were $360, and 4 days away. They have new and used. Good prices.Motors, Trans, diffs, and about 60 Trucks for parts. If they can help, they’re glad to.
