Hi - We are a small new company based in Canada and are doing cross border to US mostly. Recently there has been sharp drop in load availability and we are looking at new ways to explore loads, One of them is betting using online websites etc but we don't know where to start Can someone guide us here ?

Just read the the load paperwork that brokers send you before you sign away any chance to haul for shippers that you load with the broker for, some will make you never haul for them under your numbers if you broker a load with them, and ask at every shiper you load at, lf you can talk to the office and get set up to haul under your name, most co. paperwork are about the same so you can copy it and have it ready to hand over to them, the more places you are set up with the better it will get?

When you get empty, try looking at the trucks pulling trailers that look like yours and call the phone number on the side of one of them.
