Is there anyway to request a different broker agent? The non communication from this agent after I turned down below market rates on a load and when we ask about other loads there's no communication. Just asking if its possible?

It's very stupid the way they have it set up now. I have been trying to quit my assigned agency for over a year without luck. Tried calling corporate, branch manager, whoever else, all just say they will get back to you and never respond anymore.

Whenever you see a CH Robinson post on DAT or any other load board, call them and see if they will work with you beyond that posted load.

Update: I called Carrier Services and explained my problem. They referred me to my agent manager. After talking to my agent manager less than 30 minutes I get a reply from you guessed it! The agent! So for me it seems like its part of the brokers games they play when your a small outfit im guessing but the manager said he would pair me up with someone else but that didn't happen as of this post. Thanks for all your replies we will keep you posted!

If I had to guess, I wouldn't say it's some game they are intentionally playing with you. Rather that the agent is probably disorganized and/or didn't understand the value of keeping a line of communication open with you.

Either that or you quoted him or her a high rate too many times and they figured all your rates were high and started ignoring you.

What ever the issue, hopefully you can find a way to work together successfully.

With CHR? I tried for awhile. No luck. They aren't known as Cheap and Heavy Robinson for nothing. I had a broker there tell me on the phone, no joke, "I can't give you that rate! Don't you know we are Cheap Heavy Robinson?" Like TQL they have a bunch of young agents working for peanuts and helping you out isn't their main concern.

Funny, but I heard exactly the same phrase from two of my previous agents.
