Possibly... But if thier CSA score is that bad, you probably dont want to work for them.
-
Wouldn't companies with good CSA and ISSS check prospective driver's PSP to keep their scores good?
Besides, as a driver I would be far more concerned with a Company's ISSS than their CSA, wouldn't you? -
Megas will check.
As already mentioned. A majority of the trucking companies don't use dac and could care less. They also don't care about your psp.
That crap is only relevant to megas. And probably others that rely on broker freight who might be concerned about csa
Local don't give a rats A.
They also don't use eld's. And probably 99% of local drivers aren't familiar with fmcsr.
There's 2 sides to trucking.
Local and long haul. The 2 don't play the same game. -
Why do you use the term CMV?
-
I thought all you needed was a pair of flip flops, dirty gym clothes, a bad attitude and the ability to grip a steering wheel?
ZVar and buzzarddriver Thank this. -
FMCSADAC is garbage.
FMCSA is a government agency overseeing Motor Carriers.
DAC is now HireRight, which is a company like Experian, Transunion, or Equifax, all credit reporting agencies. And has nothing to do with the Federal Government. -
Commercial motor vehicle.
The point of this thread was about all the ABC's involved with trucking. Hard to keep them all strait. -
FMCSADAC = Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Drug and Alcohol Cleaninghouse, not the DAC report.
-
Trucking is a small portion of commercial vehicle driving, much is not regulated by the FMCSA, which is why I asked why did you use the term.
When I was hiring people for under 26k vehicles, I didn't have to deal with anything other than the MVR.
