I can scale out at about 44k lbs. Ive just recently put 385 steers on, but I havnt found the TX regulation for that yet.
You think right now is a good time to be out soliciting new business partners? Lots of the shippers/receivers I've been to have all been setup for no personal contact... At my delivery this morning the office was locked with a sign on the door stating for the driver to call phone number listed for instruction. Was told to pull in yard unstrap/tarp leave paperwork on deck and then wait in truck. Once finished unloading forklift operator will leave signed copy on deck. I would think right now with the current uncertainty that the last thing lots of these places are wanting to do is get set up with new carriers... Roll with who we currently use and when this mess clears up then maybe think about new carriers.... Maybe I'm off base?
Lightest mud load we set up is about 47300lbs. Might be wary of that. Some of them float heavier. Hard to say. Some of them are probably having issues with their main batch having dudes down for COVID. Some of them are probably rolling just fine. Never know until you ask.

Welcome to TruckersReport. The brokers will all be along later and are hereby ordered to post their customer list for you.
As ordered i'm ready to give a complete list and rates. Just e-mail me all the shippers you've talked to and the rates you gave and i'll return with mine.
You can give me a call any time. 1-800-382-5633. I work for Froberg United Capital Knowledge and Oscar's Fast Freight.
Hey, now - you're trying to be sneaky. Post your customer list for everybody or wave goodbye to everybody.
Hello Mernell, My name is Jimmy, and I am the son of the deposed king of Nigeria. We had a great freight brokerage we ran as the royal family, and we have customers that we need to move to the US. If you can simply provide me with all of your current customers and the rates you provide them, I will send you my customers. When we move our brokerage to the US we would just like 80% of our customers back, you can keep 20% of our very high paying customers. Once you send me your customer list, I will send you mine. P.S. I heard Froberg United Capital Knowledge and Oscar's Fast Freight is a great company. P.P.S Definitely don't spend hours every day cold calling, slowly developing a customer base by answering calls and emails all hours of the night while working to find reliable partner carriers. That is definitely not the way to develop your newborn brokerage.
