I read somewhere that you can go to the Social Security Administration and get a record of all the jobs you've paid taxes on. I can't find the thread so I was hoping that can be confirmed.

Yup, that's it. Kind of cool to read. I made $166 a year in my first job as a dish washer. Had to ride my bike there.

That's where I learned I made more money working 3 crappy part-time jobs in college than as an aircraft mechanic after college. I saved more cash as a first year truck driver than I earned turning wrenches on airplanes.

So I have the form pdf, is it possible to just pay the fee and get it emailed to me? I can't get a hold of a person over the phone with either the SSA or Department of Labor.

Millis Transfer needs phone numbers to verify employment, I can only provide the number to the primary job I held in the last 3 years. Other than that they were temp agencies and a garbage security company I stayed with for two months.

Your not going to get access to the SS web site any time soon. They will mail you a PIN number using the U.S. Mail....A letter!! You go from there. They are very protective with SS data.

I made 65 dollars every week minus taxes at 3.35 pushing books into a library system computer tied to the County system. Call it 35 dollars a week after taxes. Still in school. Classes from 8 am to 11 then work from 12 to around 4 after a mile walk across Frederick each way.

It was so mindless. books in, books out with stickers and barcodes. Piles of books. I got the hell out of there after that year.

If you still have your taxes from the year you worked for the other companies they should be able to take that for proof with your 3years at your current job should be enough.
