Drug possession. That conviction is pretty young, plus its drugs. You may be waiting a while

yea I know but I have looked into the process for relief of disabilities.. but it seems like I have to be disable to apply for that certificate....some companies try to work wit me and ask if its possession or delivery.. and I say possession and they say well we can work with that but then the experience becomes a factor, smh... im gonna keep on looking and searching till I get in and thanx for taking time out of your day to give me input

Unless it is a few years old (at least 5 or maybe even 10 ) your choices are gonna be very ,very slim at BEST. I'm not trying to judge you understand, but there are lots of folks that are going after those same jobs that you are , and they have a clean record and the required experience. Plus the insurance carriers of companies have a really strong influence on the way they do their hiring....right or wrong a felony , no mater how you discount it ( "1st time I ever got in trouble etc"..) Is STILL a felony. Hard to undo a bad choice. I hope that you are able to find something, but I also think that you need to understand that it will not be easy, and the company that does give you a chance may not be what most people would want. Just giving you the truth as well as I can. Good Luck

With that sort of out-look going for you , I'm sure that you'll be fine. Just always remember that God will never put more on you that you can bear. Good Luck and keep the up dates coming.

Hopefully you get that oil rig job then you'll be straight!

On a different note try too beg for a road test!!!! if you can get a road test you can actually show them that you know how to drive and sometimes that will circumvent the one year of experience..... (Assuming it is a local job, if it is in over the road job then disregard what I just said)

Its the felony that's your problem not the fact that you are inexperienced. You could have 10 years experience and a felony and not get hired!

Once your felonies are over 5-7 years old then some of the smaller companies may start to consider you. Whatever you do, make sure you call around and talk to some companies first before signing up for school. A lot of schools will tell you its no problem just to get your money and once you graduate you won't be hireable.
