How to get money for loads you hauled?

    The companies that you loaded or unloaded at paid them for the loads and I'd say they expected the truck to be paid. What I'd do is contact the companies that you loaded and or delivered to and explain the situation. Hopefully you have proof that you hauled the loads, such as signed BOL etc. Tell them that you'd appreciate them contacting the company and seeing what the issue with paying you is and see if it can be resolved. If they aren't willing then sue all of them including the shipper and receiver. I suspect that some one will react with payment. However if that happens I would NOT release the claim until the funds are in your hand especially if they give you a company check. Be prepared to follow through with the suit, don't play the bluff game. Be sure to include the time and lost income plus interest in the lawsuit so as to cover your actual collection expenses.

    In the future don't haul ANYTHING for ANYONE with out a written contract and take the time to check them out.
