How to get to Perth Amboy

Hey a....both my critters were born in the LA hospital. Rooms looking down on the dunkin donuts where the little old ladies sit and talk in French so fast only a native Quebecois would understand.
I've had in-laws with cars all stoved in. Known women who put their man's stuff in the dooryard. And I've been known to get mighty ugly under the right circumstances lol

 

So the FFE guy at the elizabeth freezer helped me get back to the thruway and told me way to trick to help my GPS.
Got into Perth. Holy mother of God. That poor town probably was nice 100 years ago. The cars are Very sympathetic. Whole row of them backed up to let me turn on Smith st. Made it over to Elm. Glad the FFE gave me the heads up about backing down into the door. 7mph over to the other freezer. No incident. Terrifying but no smashed pedestrians or drivers doors flung open at the last minute.
I don't understand how anyone could drive in those cities every day. Even in a car. Guess I'm a country bumpkin but it's awful.

 

It's only a 1 exit thing from 95 south on rt 9 iirc and then the GS splits and trucks stay on the rt 9 ramp.
