Are you crazy?? Never mind don’t answer that. I would check with the local paper mills and Georgia dot! Maybe even check with the logging outfits near you!!

Well I’m on disability I planned on hopefully making two runs a day not to strenuous just wondering if I’d be able to do better that disability pay
-
I'm in ludowici…. just here to see where this leads to
RedForeman and Humblepie Thank this. -
I'm in Albany and I can not recommend hauling logs to anyone. There's other options available.

I live in North Florida, have friends who haul logs from S. Georgia back to N. Florida. Slow starvation, looooong hours, hard work.
I think they are now around $3.75 to $4.00 a loaded mile, always hauling max weight, often over. The ones I know simply do not want to haul anything else, but all are broke with junk trucks. A few do better, but they have better contracts.
My advice ? Look elsewhere. -
Your on disability and wanna haul logs... itll beat you to death... you could haul dry van freight and do just as well... how many years of experience do you have?
-
If logging there is like logging here, you're better off on disability. Throwing wrappers, throwing tire chains, hooking up tow cables, getting beat up on the bush roads etc.

Ive
just resently graduated lol -
Reson be my dad offered to help get my own truck and a friend of family is easing into the logging business so I’d have the product and be able to grow accordingly with the logging outfits
