You can't lose weight without using more calories than you consume (I know, DUH).
The easiest way to cut calories is to cut empty calories. Sugar and simple carbs. Sugar, grains, potatoes, most of the white stuff. Soda, even fruit juice. If you are physically active, and don't eat carbs, it's almost impossible to get enough calories to maintain weight. You'll find yourself, looking at a stick of butter thinking "a pat of that would go down goooooood......".
Keto, paleo, South Beach, etc, etc, are all variations of that theme. Cut out carbs, add vegetables and you will lose weight, and get rid of a whole bunch of common maladies, lose aches and pains, and gain energy.copperdome and truckdriver31 Thank this.
