I called the cat dealer where the work was done to verify full rebuild and all that was done. Just gave them the vin off the truck.

To be honest I called the kenworth dealer where they said the rebuilt was done and the dealer didn’t find any record
-
Very dishonest seller then. All records are kept. Tell the guy you called and the work was not performed as said and be done with it.Moephilly1 Thanks this.
-
Try calling your local Cat dealer. If it was done under warranty Cat should have a record of it. Could also explain why the seller has no paperwork if it was a warranty job.
Oxbow and Moephilly1 Thank this. -
you think cat would have record even though kenworth dealer worked on it ?
-
Any Cat certified dealer can look up and see if there is any warranty purchased when it got an opt. If it just got rebuilt at a non certified shop, no real way to find out.
