I use a Bluetooth device that transmits my phone sounds over the radio. It's basic and what not but it works

    Skytz33 Thanks this.

My last year on the road I kept all my music on my laptop. My radio had a USB port. I can't remember how large my USB dongle memory wise, but it held a lot. I don't drive anything today. However I can still use my laptop to play music out of a pair of bluetooth speakers. I also use bluetooth headphones with my cell phone.

Either buy a speaker,Aux cable or use Bluetooth .if none of that I just turn on my YouTube put it on the upper shelf and listen to music without changing music.

if you don't have bluetooth on your radio, they make bluetooth to aux adapters that can be plugged into your aux port on the radio. probably useful for the new iPhone guys to keep phone charged while streaming music

I got an "On the Go Cable" for 4 dollars on Amazon.& some 2 gig flashdrives for $5 apiece.I down loaded play lists straight from my phone, thru this cord plugged into a flashdrive.Tells what apps you can download on you tube to do this.Free Apps.No "rooting" of your phone required.Rooting can void your phones warranty.Any way after loading up the flash drives, set my stereo on usb, then plug flash drive into usb port. Can skip songs and volume by buttons on steering wheel.Good to go.

Yeah that pink aux port on the stereo plugs into your phone where you would normally plug in ear buds puts the sound onto your tractor speakers. I don't use it because I am teaming right now, but I have a few times. If I was going solo that's the way I would do it.

I hear those headsets sold at truck stops work well too. If I bought one of those headsets it would be solely to listen to music from my phone. They connect to smart phones using Bluetooth. The safety guy at work told me earbuds are illegal because they can cover both ears.. my codriver uses them and has never been busted, but I personally would not risk it with so many other legal options available.
