Need to replace king pins on my 2002 Volvo 770. Shop wants $419 for the set (right and left).I think I can find cheaper on line,but I need to know the part # to search for. How do I find it?

Get the number off of the front axle tag, located on the beam, and call your local brake and suspension parts supplier. I do not like anything with nylon.

If it is Stemco kit then they are probably going to run about that much. They used to be cheaper but went up in price a while back.
If you look dead center of your axle it should have a metal plate with your model/make of axle. Here is the chart to tell you which kit you need. http://www.stemco.com/f/qbin/01 577 0001 QWIK Kit.pdf -
The best way is the axle tag, but if that leads to problems try www.cumberlandtruck.com/ They are a parts house and own Volvo dealerships.
