well that's a little different from logging on duty for maintenance yes technically if your driving to a shop you log driving then maybe 15 minutes on duty.

Yes sir you are correct.But I don't always do as I'm supposed to.Like sometimes I do table dances for drivers at the TA tv room for extra cash to pay for my pm I know I should log that but I don't

Now get this, this past weekend my truck was at home and I was working on it putting in new CB wires and became very very intoxicated. Now since that is logged as on duty time am I up for a possible OWI?!? LOL

 

How is FMCSA going to know?You're home drop the trk off log 1 go home pick it up later.

 

All it is is another rule written by lawyers so they can point the finger at someone, take them to court, and impose the case and hopefully win. Its always about the money...
