    How can I pay my 2290 due if local IRS barricaded themselves and I can not get in without appointment two weeks ahead to submit 2290 form and payment . Why I have to pay $30 for third party.

    I use I think it's express truck tax. Com. $10. File then mail it in with a check. Good to go. Easy way to do it and I'm in Canada.

    Why not just mail it in for free. I mail mine in myself. Couple weeks later, I get a receipt back in the mail that its been paid. Doesn't cost me anymore than the cost of a stamp and a couple minutes to fill it out....

    If you don't need your copy now mail it.in NC you can pay it where you get your plates also.IRS here doesn't require an appointment for a payment you can walk in.

    They say appt only but in Chicago the lady said not really needed just have all paperwork ready money order or check and walk in

    I always just mail it in, get more for my money, a real person has to open and process it, pay more to do it eletronic and save the IRS work, no thanks.
