After market warranties are worthless in my experience. You're better off putting the amount the warranty costs aside and paying things yourself. I had 3 claims in the year I had a warranty and all 3 were denied. The 3rd one was partially paid after I threatened a law suit, but they only paid half of the actual repair cost.
How to pay my driver (question for small fleet owner of 2-5 trucks)

I have 2 year/250,000 mile on mine
They want 13,000 (cad $) for 5/500,000
13000 buys a lot of egr and a turbo. Short of a full rebuild it isn't worth it. If the emissions proves unreliable I will fix it illegally and for good for 3,000.Crude Truckin' Thanks this. -
I pay 26% of total gross. I even include the FSC and the percentage I give up to the carrier in their percentage. Where we get most of our loads the freight paid by the shipper to the carrier is listed on the back page, the drivers know this and know to write that amount on their pay sheet. I hold out taxes and pay for WC . After 1 year I bump them to 27% and give them 5 days paid vacation ($200 day) per year.
