i have an Eaton 13 manual, not many thieves know to shift gears.
I'm pulling lots of high risk, we are not allowed to stop in certain areas,New Braunfels,TX ,south Dallas I-20, West memphis, East Kansas City, around Chicago/Gary,IN, Detroit. The HR trailers are tracked by outside contractor security company. A couple of years ago my trailer seal was cut doors opened as i was taking a nap on ramp exit 265 ,I-40 W, in Arkansas, just west of Memphis. I've had printed paper, they cut the skids wrapping and checked the load. I called police, the officer told me they have problems almost every night in those trucks stops in West Memphis, mostly are stealing food from reefers. Another incident in Laredo,TX, i went with a buddy for lunch at Chilli's exit#4, I-35, we parked in front Home Depot parking, bobtail. When we came back my buddy truck wont start, opened the hood, the ECM was missing, they cut the wires with bolt cutter or something, at noon in the middle of the day. Later we found out that many trucks are stolen in Laredo.Last edited: Apr 29, 2019
