Lots of Valero diesel pump handles and buttons are colored yeller here. Usually the smaller nozzle ones for diesel autos are yellow and the big truck nozzles are green in most cases i’ve seen.

    Try this company:

    Fuel Safety Signs and Labels

My company buys most of our signage from them and they're fair to deal with.

I gotta say though, at 1000 bucks per incident I think the lesson should have stuck with you a little better.

Check, check, and recheck before you start pumping.

There's one Speedway station near me that has a confusing pump. I've nearly dieseled my car a couple times, but I.....

.....checked, checked, and rechecked before pumping.

    It's a finely-honed tanker yanker habit.

It is confusing sometimes. Scott Petroleum has blue handled nozzles for gas. I know a guy who filled a big DEF tank all the way with gas before he caught it. Only thing to do is pay attention and double check.

You'd be surprised just how often people who are used to using petrol make this very same mistake. The key is you need to get petrol out of your mind and focus on diesel as some have already said it should have it written on the cap "diesel fuel only" if it keeps happening your best off buying a petrol powered motor vehicle as its not that hard to choose diesel when your at the pump. I'd even go as far as putting one of those notes on your steering wheel "only use diesel fuel."
