When I turn on the wiper the blades go up and stop on the windshield, have to push them back down. When I lift the wipers off the windshield they wipe about 4 times and stop on in the up position. I'm thinking it the motor.
How do you remove the motor?
I remove the main nut 13mm that holds the linkage, their's also about 3 t25 screws hold the motor to the bracket. I loosen them but the linkage still attached to the main bolt. What's the secret to remove it. It's a tight spot to work without removing the air filter box.
Thanks in advance for any help

Motor and linkage are complete assembly. Remove your wiper arms, remove the wiper cowl tray, then remove the linkage assembly from the firewall.

I replaced the motor this morning, everything works good now. Their is a recall for the wiper motor on international prostar and lonestar 2007 to 2010. But I didn't have time and didn't want the dealer to hold on the the truck for days for a $130 repair. I brought the motor and install myself. Fairly easy job.
Remove the air filter box
Unplug the motor electrical plug
Remove the 13 mm nut holding the linkage to the motor
Remove the three T27 torx bolt holding the motor to the bracket
Take out the motor
Install the new one, simpleJustrucking2, Heavyd and Jazz1 Thank this. -
Also keep in mind your exterior door handle is plastic and can snap off, that was very disappointing.
Justrucking2 and 7seriestv Thank this.
