Tri-Sodium-Phosphate A.K.A. TSP, comes in a little paper milk like carton. It's in a cristle form. Just mix with water. We used it to clean the drop ceiling frame in our bingo-hall, which started out white, but soon was brown with smoke residue. TSP works really, really well.

I smoke but clean my windows daily, a little window cleaner and a paper towel.
If your windows get that nasty you need to clean them more often -
TSP should be able to be bought at a paint store like Sherwin Williams, painters use it to wash houses before painting. -
Becareful with the VARIOUS concoctions that are suggested , some will STAIN interior / dash if you happen to spilll it.

A little OT but : A little tip to help remove the smell from the interior is to get a large pan or 2 and fill them with generic grill charcoal, the kind with no accelerants added.. Leave it in the truck as long as you can.
