How to remove smoker's haze clouding up the windshield

Sit in the front seat, place heals on top of dash, slide seat all the way forward, pull knees up by ears, kick out windshield. Call ambulance to take you to get you where they take care of broken ankles. When you recover truck will have a new, clean windshield.

There is no point spending a lot of money to get smoke off the windows. A couple of people have mentioned vinegar. Mixing a little vinegar with warm water can work wonders. Using Dawn dishwashing detergent in some warm water also works well.

 

I smoke cigars... tried quitting, didn't work. I use Dawn dishsoap to clean my windows/chrome/shiny stuff.

 

I don't smoke, but I still get a dirty film on the inside of my windshield. What is that? Is it vinyl fumes that become airborn from the vents?

 

Yes , part of it is all the chemicals used in making all the interior components , rest is just the crap in the air ( we breath that stuff )

 

My first truck had been smoked in heavily. I used Dawn on the glass and Clorox bleach spray on everything else. I recommend using the Clorox on a off weekend so that you can vent out the smell.
