How to remove Volvo armrests on 2018 780?

    What ever ... the mount for many arm rests are welded to the frame.

    I think you are right. I can put my finger on the shaft and rotate the arm so that tells me even if I was able to remove the arm I would have a section of pipe sticking out. The last thing I want is a jagged section of pipe visible on the side of the seat.

    Try this, sit in pass seat and put rest down. Push hard inward on the rest at the seat swivel and lift the rest till it is pointed back in to the sleeper then release pressure and see if it will pull out. Most are like a key hole.

    I’m not limber enough and the turn signal intrudes into my dash foot rest space.
