Might help if you post a picture so we see how your specific seal works.

I've never checked on mine what's inside.

But if it's just a domestic O-ring, just round, you can buy one in any parts supply store for a few cents.

i think you can buy an O ring kit real cheap at J.C. Whitney, if they still have them....or Amazon

or take the gauge to any auto parts store, or hardware store, and get one.

I found a big box of repair rings at walmart and one of them just happened to fit. Seems to work pretty good just got it glue the thing in there now.

    Lepton1 and JonJon78 Thank this.

I've found my tires, if they go flat, are only flat on the bottom. Plus, there are 17 other tires to carry the weight. ;-)

I'd buy a combination repair kit so he could repair the tire gauge and his toothpick. I mean neither those are growing on trees these days.

Good on you @A Bug for figuring out how to fix the gauge. Sign of a real driver and not just a steering wheel holder who gets suckered into buying a new one because they can't even figure out how to replace an o ring.

I dont understand all the hate here. If someone wants to replace the rubber ring versus buying a new one, who cares? Not a big deal.

I always resented people who buy new Orings for pressure gauges. I have no explanation why.
