Unless you have ever spent time in a truck stop in Texas with no ac and all the others around you are idling away with the engines running putting out heat you cant say things like that puppet. It gets unbearbly hot in them trucks during the day if you aint got ac. It's like being in an oven. Idle the truck and save your life
How to sleep without A/C while in Texas at noon?

Been there and done that. I speak from experience.....I try not to use much air conditioning in general in the house either so I am probably more used to getting warm. -

Geez I'm not going to be sorry that I don't need it.....I try not to take medicine every time I get an ache too....toughens you up.

There's a big difference between MO and TX in the summer. *shrugs* Heck it's hotter out here in AZ than in TX but it's easier to deal with the heat because of the lack of humidity.

Folks, we are talking about making a living here! If you want to "toughen up" go visit a hospital where children are dying. Try The Ronald McDonald House or the Shriners Hospital for starters.
If you want to bake in your truck sleeping in Phoenix Arizona in the middle of summer, knock yourself out. I did my sweating through the mattress back in the 70's.
If I can't idle the truck, I will do Idle Air. If I can't afford Idle Air, then I am paying to drive. If I am paying to drive a truck, then trucking is no longer worth doing. And if trucking is no longer worth doing then I guess someone was willing to follow every edict that comes down from those who sleep in homes with central air.lilillill Thanks this. -
