I was fired from my last driving job for absences...but the company is not showing up on my dac...I had 1 non dot reportable accident that's not showing up as well...I got DOT drug tested after the accident and it came back positive...the company said they should have company tested me and not DOT test me...neither the accident or the drug test is showing up on my dac either...my question is why are trucking companies turning me down for work...most won't tell me why...but one said I had dui's on my driving record...I haven't received any violations for the 3 years I've had my cdl...I checked and found out that an accident that happened in my car where a guy backed into mine and took off (a hit and run) was being reported on my MVR as a dui...also the company questioned me about a dui that was over ten years old and one that was over 20 years old...they also said I had a refusal for a drug test which I have never done...I did some thinking and the only thing that could come close to that is when I applied for a job with Schneider back in the spring...I wasn't in orientation but they scheduled me for a drug test...I was already driving for a company...I live in chicago...but my cdl is from missouri...I thought I would have problems getting it changed over to illinois so I decided not to take the job...did they report me as having refused a drug screen...I've been driving in illinois on a missouri license for two years...my company never ma
de me change it over...is that the problem...I've also been questioned about some issues I had with CR England when I worked there...I straightened it out with Dac...but I'm still be questioned about it...do trucking companies get a different version of dac then drivers get...dac only is supposed to go back 10 years on your driving history...a background report is only supposed to go back 7....what is happening to me...why can't I find another driving job....I still owe money to MTC Truck Driver Training in missouri...is it possible they are black balling me...what is going on...HELP!!!
How to straighten out my driving history

You got to fight to clean up any thing not true.
Before getting hired by Fedex I got a letter from info mart stating that I would not be hired by Fedex due to a missed drug test.
The problem there is I was never given a app. to show up for the test and Fedex knew about this and told me to ignore the letter and I was given a new date to take the test, passed and now working for them.
But Info mart has not yet updated their records yet. -
Thanks slim...having a cdl can really be a hassle man...your right...I've got to break out the mop again...

You have some cleaning up you can do. When you apply, you sign a release form. All previous companies in the past 10 years have to release any info by the regs.
So what you can't clean up, you have to beat by time. I would fight that Schneider thing. That's hurting you. -
So Condo...I have to clear it up through dac right...you know...truck driving schools should teach new drivers about how to protect their CDL...the company you train with will only tell you not to have any accidents while your in training...I didn't even know what a dac report was until I tried to apply for another job...these companies get you your license and don't warn you about how easy it is for your new driving career to get flushed down the toilet...thanks for you.
