Actually, those were totally relevant questions. I love when guys come on here, ask a question, and then when they're not told what they want to hear they throw a hissy fit.

Florida Playboy is right, not everyone that snores has sleep apnea.

This entire post is how to tell someone they have sleep apnea. Which is when someone stops breathing while they're sleeping. Soooo when someone stops breathing, and then takes a gasp like they've been under water for five minutes, it usually means they have sleep apnea. I didn't know how to bring up sleep apnea to my co driver, who's single, not married and probably has no idea what he does while he sleeps. Some people don't like being told those things, no matter who says it.

And this literally has nothing to do with me once again. I snore after I've been drinking while I sleep on my back. Which I don't drink on the truck, and very rarely do I sleep on my back. I'm not a guy with a neck as fat as a basket ball... Don't know why I gotta keep defending myself

You know what I love more? When people comment without reading the entire thread.

Sorry I'm riding shotgun and using text to talk so it sounds

  9. So are you a doctor?????
To make that prognosis of that drivers health.

I can be sympathetic for your concern of this driver. You cant change the world, even one driver at a time.

It's just like my neighbor he drinks a 36pack of beer on every Friday.
Yes that would fall under text book alcoholic to a layman.
I am not nor will i ever call him that or imply he needs professional help.

    Not my place
Unless this driver causes your life to drastically change due to his actions. You cant try and fix his issues.

    So change your,situation not his.

Control what you have control of.

If your neighbor got in his car a drives down the road after drinking the 36 beer, Would you say something or just let him keep driving drunk ?? You might call the police and let them decide if he is driving drunk. That what sleep apnea is, if you see some one stops breathing at night and wake up tired. So you have a driver that is sleepy driving down the road all day. So the question is, how sleepy does someone need to be before we stop them from driving ?? This is were a Sleep Doctor comes in, the sleep doctor can look at your sleeping and see how much sleep your getting or not getting. A sleep apnea test will first look and see if you even have sleep apnea. If not they your good to go, if you do and depending on how bad it is you get a CPAP machine with the pressure setting just for you to correct the sleep apnea. Then you get back to driving and your not sleepy anymore.
