True, and not every fat person has it either.
However, he's right in that a classic sign of it is when one stops breathing for a few seconds and then suddenly gasps for air. I personally believe that is in the brain, and not directly related to snoring, but the one who's doing it will never know for sure unless someone else tells him what's happening.

Then recommend to him the observation not to the safety dept. Of the company.

Take him to a coffee and talk with him
" eh sorry bud but did you know that you stop breading in the night ....."
If he is not ashole he will react nice and have the changse to take care of it ..
If he react like a ashole talk to the safety and rejeckt to work with him about your own safety..Last edited: Aug 8, 2016

I can see someone getting mad if they are told they might have sleep apnea. Like other post said it's expensive to get taken care of. Plus time off from work unless you get home every week, or have a home test or trucking company has their own setup to use

My dad had sleep Apnea... CSX bridge engineer for 30+ years for southeast US region. Never affected his work but it sure kept us awake at deer camp! If you wanted sleep you better go to bed before him. He had the surgery later in life and it solved his issues. God rest his soul.
tucker Thanks this.
