It's better to get tested on your own. That's what I did before I even started driving a truck. I found out that I have it. I would nod off at a long red light. I have more energy since I started using the cpap.

The place I got my CPAP machine from says its not a weight issue. Its a neck muscle issue. What happens is while sleeping the muscles relax and collapses the windpipe and the machine helps keep the windpipe open. He told me that he has an older woman that is like 5'2 and 100 pounds and her machine runs at close to 20cmH2O but yet there is me 33, 6'4 360 pounds and only need 4-5cmH2O from the machine. I just chalk it up to Im a high performance sleeper and need boost to get sleep.

I'm on Bi-pap also, this guy is one of those sleep tech and he seems to have real good info on sleep apnea and he also tells you how Insurance company kinda scam people I to getting the wrong CPAP machine. He also now has home sleep apnea test for trucks and it like $500 for the test you do in you home. It as good as a sleep lab.
