Hello all. I have 3 prehires right now from schneider, werner, and h o wolding. I'm pretty confident i want to go with wolding. Whats the best way to turn down the other two pre-hires just in case wolding doesnt work out and i need to choose one of the others?

Just don't call the others back. Or just tell them your going in a different direction and thank them and hangup. Nothing will go against you if decide not to go with the other pre-hires Remember they are recruiting you its just a preliminary offer thats all
Big Don Thanks this. -
Even if you go to orientation it's not 100 percent set in stone you will get hired on. It's an interview process. If one doesn't work out for some reason its nice to have those other chances to get signed on. Just be polite and tell them your going in another direction and thank them

and H O wolding is the best of those 3
just make sure your home address is close enough to 95 for them they can be fussy about silly things -
Tell the other two that you got caught with a kilo of coke and will have to focus on that for the foreseeable future. If your found not guilty then you'll give them a call if that's okay with them.
In all seriousness, tell them the truth. The turnover in trucking is 100%+. They aren't going to hear anything you say other than your not coming.Dreamboat, joseph1135 and 1guy1camera Thank this. -
Personally I'd just let the other two hang. A prehire is NOT a job offer. It's like being pre-approved for a loan. It means jack squat. It's not like SNI and Werner are anxiously waiting by the phone for your call back. They pass prehires out like candy on Halloween.
Then, if things don't work out at H O you at least have those two in your back pocket.tscottme, Swedish Chef, Big Don and 5 others Thank this. -
Sorry in advance but if you need help turning down prehires I can only imagine the help you're going to need on the road.

Don't worry they'll email you every other day with their new greatest offer ever.

I didn't answer my Werner pre hire back in 1998......wonder if they're still waiting for me to call them....
Dreamboat Thanks this.
