And another thing: if you have a lot with potholes/mudholes in the droplot, don't drop the darn trailer where if it rains, the next driver has to stand in 6" of water/mud/ ###### to crank the trailer or hook up their airlines. Drop it somewhere else funny guy!

On a related note... When trying to get under a trailer on ice or snow... Don't get going so fast that you slam the king pin onto the 5th wheel.
Drop bags, back under until 5th wheel is just barely covered by apron, raise bags, hook airlines and pigtail, lift landing gear 2 inches off the ground, put truck in reverse, release truck brakes, release trailer brakes, get truck amd trailer slowly rolling backward, pull Johnny bar... Trailer will stop, truck will slid gently under and 5th wheel will latch gently aroumd king pin. -

Every once in awhile, just to change it up, I like to pull the fifth wheel pin and drop the trailer right on the ground and rip the air lines off the tractor. Absolutely exhilarating.

Think the newer trucks arent coming from the factory with dump valves. Atleast thats what i was told when i was in a 2020 kenworth
650cat425 Thanks this. -

I’m guessing the trucks with no dump valve are the same trucks with no johnny bar. SMH.
