Try Magnum LTD, Fargo, ND. OTR Reefer.
Have at least one gal running around with 3 cats and a dog, or maybe it's the other way around.
How to, with 3 cats?

Another thing to bear in mind is that some shippers don't allow pets, even if they will be in the truck the entire time. Will be a problem if you go to one of these places.
Toomanybikes Thanks this. -
Paschal Truck Lines has a 75 pound limit. Not sure if they limit the number of pets.
Crete/Schaeffer just reinstated their pet policy. 60 pounds. Again not sure if they'll allow multiple pets.
Freymiller is 75 pounds as well. And again, not sure about multiple pets.
Do what you want, I'm sure there's a company out there that'll let you have a zoo in the truck.
If not, and you're crazy enough, many companies such as swift let you do whatever you want as far as pets go if you lease.SassyChris Thanks this. -
I think any distraction during the initial training period, except for a naked woman, is an issue. I'd be apposed to any pet for the first 90 days your on your own as well. -

** Those who actually addressed the question or sufficiently enough, I thanked you. Some provided additional companies to check into that I hadn't already (nor even heard of) -- thank you, also. **
To the rest: Oy, people just flying with whatever, rather than the question...
** What I'm trying to find out is **:
AS EMPLOYEES -- HOW DO PEOPLE MANAGE TO HAVE MULTIPLE PETS ON A RIG WITH THEIR COMPANY WITHOUT GETTING FIRED IF 1) THE COMPANY DOESN'T ALLOW PETS, or 2) THE NUMBER OF PETS SURPASSES THE POLICY ALLOWANCE?
I've seen plenty say on threads here "I take my pets with me, pet policy or not". Some reference to the company driver with 10 cats. A reference to the team-drivers with 4 dogs. How do they not get fired when they're bringing their pets w/out a pet policy, first of all?! Secondly, if the company has a limit on pets and the number surpasses. THAT is what I'm asking!
My question had absolutely nothing to do with: the road life; other choices to OTR; anything during whatever "training period" focus that came out of left field; nor advice for traveling with cats. The extra info was just that-- extra! If it helps you to help me find what I'm seeking (i.e. flatbed company), great.. if not, then it's just extra.
It was a how-to-as-company-driver-in-an-OTR-company-with-the-number-of-pets-despite-policy question, considering the majority seem to only allow one pet limit, if any.
* The components of the asked question to focus on: *
- Position: OTR company driver (HIRED)
- Number of felines: 3
- Purpose: To find out how to, without getting fired for policy
Please cease twisting my question into something that was not at all asked. Thank you.

You get 3 on the same as 1 or 2. It was a non question.
What you are looking for is how do you get caught with 3. I told you. Their is a certain point where the number of animals in a small container is a funkified mess. That mess of a truck will be at shippers, terminals, and in the shop. Some one will see or smell that funk and rat you out. It happens all the time. Obviously, you live with 3 cats and are immune to the situation, but that is you. I can tell you, having been a mechanic, I can open the door a truck and make a pretty good estimate of what has been going on there.SassyChris Thanks this. -
Also if you get pulled into a weight station DOT will not be happy going through that brake inspection. Also most of these big companies have cameras some even driver facing. If you just brake too hard or just because they want to view any actions while driving they will not be happy with a couple cats chasing each other.

2. They're good drivers.
3. Or both.
You'll find some "policies" are more of a "guideline".j_martell and SassyChris Thank this. -
Not unless I actually take care of my rig and my pets. You're assuming I'd end up a typical funkified driver. I'm nothing "typical". There's a thing called "litter box", "scooper", "clumping litter", "baking soda", "odor filters", "lined trash can with lid", "daily clean up", and "vinegar"..... maybe you want to pass that on to the other drivers. Cleaning out the litter box will be part of my daily pre-trip. I shall make a point of maintaining my self-dignity. This means with myself, as well as my rig. Yeah, no "funkified" isn't in the plan.
So are you saying the main concern with anyone having pets -- especially if against policy -- are the mechanics tattling rather than DOT inspections, company paperwork stuff, etc? I heard elsewhere mechanics don't usually care, especially if the animals weren't a problem/are friendly.Last edited: Jul 22, 2016
