    Well, if the company does allow pet policy, but max 2 -- then that wouldn't be a problem, right? I suppose if they only allowed one, then they would be like "wtf, where'd the 2nd come from?!" I doubt the cats will be chasing each other here while in motion, haha. Likely the large one will sit right in the passenger seat or lay on the dashboard while the other two are curled up in the bunk snoozing.

    But thank you -- that did give me something to consider with the driver-facing camera while I'm company-hunting!

    I was just thinking that. I cannot imagine my response if I went to pick up a student and they had 3 cats with them.

    Well in your original post you said after you finish CDL school, so that's why you got the responses you did. We do try to help. Excuse the #### out of me and the others for having discussion.
    I never took mine as a company driver.
    You will need current vaccine certificates for all - Rabies & Distemper.
    The companies that did take cats on a company truck charged $500 to $1,000 deposit per cat. Oh so unfair, cause your cat is gonna do this to some spot in the sleeper--

    The rest you figure out.
    But if I were you, I'd focus on learning how to drive the truck, so you don't kill me, my family, my friends, or my cats. Cause its real easy to do.
    Good luck, your hissy fits will get you far in this business.

    For those who cannot read, I had said "once CDL school is completed"

    Do I really need to explain that CDL School graduation clearly means I'm not needing company-sponsored training, but I am also not claiming to already have 1 year minimum OTR experience to be considered "experienced" to those of you who claim to already be experienced drivers?!?! The "experience" was in reference to the companies who are more lenient on their pet policies but require at least 1 year or 2 years experience to even apply, like P&S. Like, hello?

    Seriously, people. READ.

    CAT SCRATCH POST. They don't like furniture. They like compacted cardboard and sisal rope, as well as the occasional plastic bags.

    Don't confuse firm clarifications with hissy fits. CDL School will be already done when I'm hired, so what training exactly am I bringing the cats on? Right, there isn't one.. the training's already done, but everyone chose to run on the one person's comment about bringing pets to some nonexistent training. Even I understand the differences between CDL schooling, company-sponsored training, and company orientation. And yes, I'm aware of policies that may have an initial probation period before eligibility before anyone feels compelled to bring it up. I already did my homework. I came here to ask a question that I could not find in my homework as I know such company drivers exist and haven't been fired -- no company is going to advertise "how to pretend you have no pets when you have 2 dogs", etc, on their FAQ lol
