How well do you do on snow/ice roads?

    This was my view today, it was a slippery one! As you can see in the pic, traffic wasn't much of an issue today. We'll have a number of days like this throughout the winter. Around here, we suck it up and drive in it (slowly). We very rarely shut down altogether. If we stopped in this weather, we'd be sitting for way too long. This is supposed to keep up for another week or so. I already have other motivation besides the snow to drive slow... I get paid hourly!

    never eat at an indian restuarant just prior to going out on the road...

    - screw the icy slick roads - I had to contend with turbogutz

    yeah man - that was a great 36 hours pent on every public toilet in kentucky...


    now it looks like I will be in the snow and ice tonight - with triple trailers on the turnpike...

    Good luck Latanea! The roads here are the pits. There is a certain corner that attracts trucks to hit the barrier, and yesterday I was slip sliding towards said barrier, knowing it would be ugly, as well as there being a car broken down metres beyond because he hit the curb then the barrier... and miracle of miracles... traction appeared out of the blue, and I managed to avoid the magnetic barrier and the car...phew!
