    Hello to all,

I'm a prospective driver I have spent some time reading through a number of different posts and have written a couple myself. I appreciate those who have taken the time to read my posts and answer my questions. I also appreciate the multitudes who have taken the time to write a post without ever knowing if it would be read or not.

I have noticed a trend regarding how people write posts and would like to express my thoughts on it so others can read this and decide for themselves it they agree or not and if so, consider it when writing posts themselves.

The trend I notice, in particular with longer posts, is when someone writes a post that is well written with good flow, spacing, punctuation, an eye for spelling, clear examples, and well expressed ideas; I tend to give those posts a more careful read and consider that infomation to be fairly valid.

on the othr hand whn som1 rites somthin that is ful of speling error an i cant really red it bcus its 1 long sentence that doesnt end and with on punctuatin and their is no thot for makin it eas y 4 another persn too read and i get a headche trying to decipher it i dont feel there ideas r as valid

As I mentioned, I don't know if others feel the same when reading posts but I suspect I'm not alone. Obviously, if no cared about the sharing of knowledge, most people on here would not bother writing posts at all. However, since you are on this forum, reading and responding and making your own threads, I believe you do care about others hearing and learning what you have to say- and so I encourage you to help those who would like to learn to make it as easy as possible to read and understand what it is you have to say to the rest of us.

    Thanks to all.

It doesn't really matter to me if someones posts are not written perfectly. Its what they have to say that's important to me. JMO

Darlin you have to understand that nobody is perfect. True there are people who know spelling and punctuation, however, there are others that were not as fortunate as you, I, or others to get a higher education. Fortunately, even though their spelling might be poor and their punctuation not correct, they still come on here and give their advice the best way they can. The simple thing to do is, if you do not like the way they spell then do not read their post. There are plenty other posts on here that you can read that may have the spelling and punctuation that you want. In addition, you should not point people's spelling and punctuation out when you yourself made mistakes, and I am not meaning the obvious ones you did to try and prove a point. Best of luck to you

Other than the one obvious paragraph, can I point out all your grammatical errors?

Judge ye not, least ye be judged!

Amen to that! Do not judge others when you, yourself are not perfect. It also comes down to being respectful. The people that you speak of that do not know how to spell or punctuate might err but they are at least respectful to the other posters on the forum. This is something that so far you have lacked. I would much rather try and decipher their posts and respect them for at least giving me and others the knowledge that I do not have then berate them because they erred on their spelling....did your mama not raise you better than that?:biggrin_25513:

I'm with the others on this. It's dont matter to me if a post is perfect as far as spelling, grammar and punctuation because well, I would be one of the guilty ones. What matters to me is that I get the point when someone writes something. Or....that I get the point across when I am writing something. Sometimes some people (me) have a hard time writing what is in their head and it dont always come out as how they intended it to be or the words dont sound like they did when you was thinking it. You know, with all the voices up there and other little noises......

With spell check it might be easy for some to correct errors in that area but for others (me again) to come on and make a post that is grammatically and punctually correct it just isn't gonna happen.
