    Jon was moving out to be with his parents, and Eric had to go back to his parents. Probably broke the little guy's heart. 39, way too young, but what a life he had in the last ten years.

    They are having a whole weekend of remembrances for Eric. Didn't do that for Hank, Kenneth Keith, Cleff Pallette or Blue Iris. Eric really meant something. And the crazy part is, the INSANE amount of attention for him. That really proves that after all these years, Howard is still as relevant as ever, and Eric was a huge celebrity in his own right. I think it's true that he lived to 39 because of the show. It gave him purpose. 39 is way young, but man, the last 12 years, what a life it was. I've been a Howard fan since 1987 and I don't remember him giving as much to anyone like he did Eric. Except Robin's car, lol. He actually made Eric's dreams come true, and the greatest thing about Eric was that it was never good enough. Eric was a 3.5 foot man with a ten foot tall attitude, full of piss and vinegar.

    Hank was awesome, I think the only reason why we grew so attached was because of the E show. but you're correct,nothing like eric the cripples re-plays.

    Past 2 years or so floated away from stern. Living on the western side of PA we got only the Channel 9 show in the day was a fan since. now it's just super lame. stern died when AGT started !
