I went with Prime straight from school in Feb 2010. Orientation was a terrible experience. The 1st day you are treated like dirt or worse. They have great equipment and it is well maintained. The training program will last at least 3 months, so they are basically using you for a cheap team driver. My trainer got in the sleeper my first night in the truck with me driving and I did 500 + miles the 1st night alone and thats how it stayed. The clincher was I was in that truck for 5 weeks and never got home time. At the end of that 5th week, I got close enough to home to get out and never got back in. Don't really have anything bad to say about Prime, it just was not the place for me.
Howard Transportation or Prime, I must decide soon!!

U2 whats the deal with the prime trucks with the small 48inch sleepers are they regional drivers?

Oh they don't have passenger seats either.
Let's just say most people hate them, others are less than thrilled. I've met a few wh are pretty indifferent about them.
Im too used to my roomy century (compared to them) plus I am a trainer... So I keep my condo. My truck will probably be turned in soon... The trainer deal will keep me out of one.
I love my truck simply because of the MPG. I've got no problem getting close to or maxing out my fuel bonus each week with very little effort. I will be sad to move out.
