Yeah. Company-paid benefits is the big selling point these days.

I think us at Gordon's now at least my truck is actually faster then Yellow, which Gordons was the slowest of the slow, but even I have passed up some Yellow trucks. Those Estes guys though they just blow my doors right off, they come flying by faster then the speed of light. The other two slowest contenders are Prime Inc, that's a toss up because they are pretty slow and the slowest of the absolute slow is Trans Am it doesn't get any slower then Trans Am.

With any luck Yellow will get bought out by UPS. The rest of us would get lot of off color and toilet humor from that.

They're so *** deep in debt and pension liabilities that no one will touch them. Not to mention that they're union and no one wants any part of that either. Plus most of their equipment is DECADES old, (they're still running Roadway trucks and they bought Roadway in 2003......so, at least, 20 year old trucks, (assuming that the trucks were all brand new in 2003 when Yellow bought them)).

There's really not a lot to love here.

Shoot when I worked at YRC most trucks had a million miles on them. Had the privilege of driving one with over 2 million one time. This was 5 years ago! Lol

Trucks actually last that long? Man that's like a 20 years truck right?
