I'm running so far pretty steady at Gordon Food Service we've been chugging a long on night transit our yard has had all of it's routes go out for as long as I can remember so far this year. I'll be a year on night shuttle in January. Last night I was even dare I say kind of heavy. 18,500lbs in the front and 16K in the back. Now that's not every route every day, but I opened up my lead trailer and it was full right to the back doors. It helps that, that particular route the first stop is a major contract food/vending machine company that has a major terminal/production facility in my lots county and they are always busy with production of sandwiches and cookies and what not.

Did you get your issues sorted out with the way they were giving out extra turns? It sounded like you were looking at leaving a few months ago.

Yes that’s all been fixed. Everything is better. Money and stuff is good now no issues. That Distbatcher is gone as well and we have a new person in. So far so good.

When were the last layoffs at any of these companies currently doing furloughs?
-
Fedex 2008/2009 and they did a voluntary covid furlough in 2020/2021. Not sure the last time before that.
