I try to avoid using the adhesive placards just for the sake of the next person who might have to deal with removing them, man those things suck but sometimes you are put into situations where you have to use them, I am sure you remember during your time at Saia not only missing clips but sometimes the whole #### flip placards lol, nothing has changed here lol, anyway hope things are going well for you at big E.

Nothing to feel like a moron about, those adhesive placards are a ##### to get off to almost impossible, especially when they keep tearing one little piece at a time, very frustrating even when using a razor or something, the torch is about the only thing that works for those.
-
Some of our guys just carry white spray paint lol. I keep a cheap torch in my pail that I picked up at harbor freight.Digman943 Thanks this.
-
Oh yea I remember a few old trailers that lacked a few necessities lol. Alls well here, hopefully the same on your end.
-
And you just hit the nail on the head and are absolutley right about DOT, as far as they are concerned its the drivers responsibilty for the HM and the placards, always has been and most likely always will be.Mike2633, road_runner and LPjunior1970 Thank this.

All good here business as usual other than some run cuts for everyone here and there, mostly weather related cancelations, these storms just wont stop here.Mike2633 and LPjunior1970 Thank this.

Well boys after 2 years on a good run I got bumped. Nobody wanted it until it was discovered I was fully off the extra board. I'm taking a 13K pay cut because of it also. Yay!!!
-
Hopefully the next guy will be just as frustrated with the meet driver.
I take it the pay cut means an easier run? -
Are you down south in Cincinnati, Ohio or am I thinking of someone else?
-
This is why I’m glad we have permanent bids. None of this ######## where if or when you finally land a run you like you can lose it to some horse’s ### above you on the list who might decide they like it more once they see you getting it done.
It’s even better when it’s some screwup of a driver who should’ve never been allowed to accumulate that level of seniority and only did so because of who he knows or blows.
Gearjammin' Penguin and Mike2633 Thank this.
