How's Everyone Doing in LTL Right Now?

Job security!

 

Had something similar happen at FXF. We had a New Years day run down to PHX, a whole set of firearms which needed to be brought to a yard with actual security. The plan was to bring the set down and bring a loaded set back.

I get there and there are no bills, no trailer numbers, and no one's around but the security guard who has no idea. Got the guns delivered, but ended up going back with empties because someone couldn't be bothered to do their job.

 

My favorite part of this job, is meeting new friends. Especially the 4 legged variety. Met these 2 hounds today at a delivery.
The Mastiff pretty much told me if i didn’t pet him, he’d bite my nose off.

The St Bernard parked herself on my right foot and said pet me. Lol.

 

Did you guys know that we pretty much have TSA pre check by having hazmat?

 

No no no you know when going through the airport? You skip the line with TSA PRE CHECK

 

I have a TWIC card and it makes it even easier in some places.
I have also been told we do not accept TWIC as valid ID.

 

That's BS. Twic also qualifies under TSA PRE CHECK. They just BS at the airline. The TSA people themselves told me this
