I can run my 6th day every week if I wanted to and my son who is in the deep south runs his 6th day every week. Certain areas stay consistent year round. It definitely helps I'm domiciled out of a large break terminal.

I'm on a 6th day now and you're right a 6th day is a blessing if you need the extra money or even want it

I used to run my 6th day every week but the past few years I've slowed way down. My run is 3,140 miles with an awesome meet guy. I'm an old man and I don't like working as much as I used to!

I feel like a worthless piece of ####. I didn't work Friday. I think right before Christmas was the last time I worked 5 day week. Next week I'm back on 5 days and it makes me sick to think about

Good ole FedEx starve out by me. Only getting about 30 hours a week. Working outbound dock for 4 hours and a couple days I get a route. Funny thing is if I never transferred out and came back to city I’d be #1 on the road board with a 600 mile turn but it would mean nights for the next 20 years. I’m looking to get out of trucking all together.

I'm not complaining. I came off a 3200 mile meet with a via. I was running up to Beloit and now I'm running down to Missouri.

Seniority sucks until you have it. I'm #90 of 108 linehaul drivers at my barn. But had I started my employment at my current barn instead of transferring in after my first year, I'd be #65, at the top of the current wild board and on the cusp of a daycab bid.

Even that doesn’t beat favoritism at a non-union place.

    McUzi and Digman943 Thank this.
